Eternal Families & The Temple
Wow! What a wonderful week this has been! We have just been blessed at every turn!
We are so so excited because Fabian, Ashley and their 4 boys came to church again yesterday and they are really committed! They even invited us over for lunch and fed us! They are the cutest things, and they really want to do this for them, and for their family. So we went over the baptismal interview questions to make sure there are no surprises, and there was a surprise. So we had to talk to our Mission President and make sure that they could still be baptized. We were praying so hard, talked to our Mission President, and he said it was okay to proceed! We are so excited and so are they! They are getting baptized next Saturday and we couldn't be more excited for them! ah. I can already see the gospel blessing their family so much. I can’t wait for them to get sealed one day!
We also got to go to the temple on Friday with the youth of the branch and it was so good! We got to participate in baptisms! It was Sister Gonzalez' first time doing baptisms! She was like a scared 12 year old, it was adorable. But she loved it! And that was my first time since being endowed. I forgot how wonderful it is! Such a huge blessing to get to go to the temple so much!
Some dad was trying to set me up with one of his sons while we were IN the temple! He fully knew I was a missionary and he was like "this is my one son and he went to so and so, and this is my other son and he speaks such and such and went to such and such." It was so awkward! Haha! And the boys were all like "well hello!” Haha! It was quite the situation. We were like..we gotta go. Haha
So that was my week! it was so great! And it was warmer than last week so we were really excited about that! But we are just so blessed and always able to see the Lords hand in all of our work.
