This
week has been really good! We have been seeing a lot of success and miracles
lately!
So
James, the guy that we met at the doctors office last Monday, came to church
for all three hours with his 3 year old son! We taught him on Saturday for the
first time, and then he came and stayed the whole time! He is so solid. Then we
said goodbye to him at the end of church, and went to find someone else, and 30
minutes later we go in the chapel and James was there just talking with a group
of members! It was so awesome! He is already very well fellowshipped! We have a
lesson with him tonight, please pray that all goes well!
We
are planning a trip to the temple this weekend! We are so excited but I
struggling to find someone to drive us! Kind of stressful, but the Lord always
provides. We got permission from President Heap to go Friday and do baptisms
for the first time with our recent convert Erica, then spend the night and go
to an endowment session for a less active who Sister Peck helped to reactivate
in Borger. So we are really excited! And Hermana Langston will be there for the
endowment so I am so excited!! It’s going to be a really great week. I can’t
believe that transfers are on Saturday. It blows my mind how quick it is going!
After that, I just have my reverse training, 12 weeks, left. I can’t even
believe that! It’s crazy. Bitter sweet feelings for sure.
The
apartment manager for the mission gave us permission to start apartment
shopping for something in our area because ours isn't quite suited for missionaries!
We found a place that we are really excited about and its exactly what we need
for under the price that we need it, and it is really nice! The guy said he
would hold it for us, which doesn't happen in this town because housing is
really hard to come by. Super miracle find! So we may be moving soon!
I’ve
really been praying lately that we would stand out and that people would notice
and talk to us! Then the experience last p-day happened! And then today, we
were at Wal-Mart picking out fabric, and this older lady came up and asked what
we were making and started talking with us! She was buying paint so we asked
her what she was doing and offered our help, and she accepted! We got her
information, and it turns out her husband was baptized and they used to live in
Utah, but he’s less active now! We are going to help them with their house and
get to talk to them! We are very excited. At the end of our conversation, she
said "I really did know exactly who you were and what church you were
from, and that's why I really came up and talked with you." it was amazing
and a huge testimony builder to me that God answers our prayers in very
specific ways!
I’m
so grateful for these days stuffed full of miracles and great experiences!
Love,
Hermana
Bleyl
