Week #49 in Texas/New Mexico - Carlsbad, New Mexico

This week has been wonderful because we have been so incredibly busy! We love being busy and having lots of appointments, it’s such a huge blessing!

We had Zone Conference this week and it was so amazing. President heap is so inspired, and I always leave his meetings pumped up and ready to go out and get it done! It’s so great. I am excited to continue to apply everything he taught us about setting goals.

Dina and Si are still on for their baptismal date of may 30th! But they didn't come to church this week because her son had a seizure and she wasn't able to come! She has recently been having some major health problems, so we brought two Priesthood holders from the ward to come and give her a blessing. It was a VERY spiritual experience for everyone that was involved. It’s always a neat experience to have an investigator take part in the Priesthood.  We are so blessed to have it on the earth again.

We had a lesson with Desire and it went really well.  She is praying about the 23rd for her baptism! She is so prepared and ready, and could be baptized any day, but she just has been baptized so many times that she really wants this to be serious and thorough, and know exactly what she is doing.  It makes sense, and we are proud of her for that, but she is beyond ready. So we will see! We are excited for her!

We have been receiving a lot of referrals lately, which is WONDERFUL! It is always so amazing when we get referrals, and we got some new investigators from them! This work is so fulfilling, I just can’t emphasize it enough! There is so much joy that comes from sharing the Gospel with people, it just covers your whole life and it is so wonderful!

I can’t believe how quickly time flies. It never ceases to amaze me! I am really enjoying every second of every day, and there is nothing better than feeling exhausted every night and falling into bed. It is so rewarding. Sister Hjorth and I have been working on being EXACTLY obedient in all things, down to the minute, and we have seen huge miracles and blessings. Our “less-active”, Paul, who we have been working with, came to church again with his three girls ages 3, 4 and 5. In Gospel principles, he broke down and shared a beautiful testimony about how he felt such a void in his life when he stopped going to church and living the Gospel. And how he can really feel the light back in his life now - and he has only been to church twice!  He is doing so well, and it really means a lot to his girls. We are really seeing huge road blocks demolished here when we do absolutely everything that we can!

We went to Carlsbad Caverns today as a District! It was so beautiful and so much fun! I will send some pictures!

I love you all!

Love,

Hermana Bleyl
